This is an original English one-sheet movie poster from 1981 for Superman II starring Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, Ned Beatty, Margot Kidder, Jackie Cooper, Valerie Perrine, Sarah Douglas, Marc McClure and Susannah York. Richard Lester directed the superhero sequel (who got the job after the original director, Richard Donner, was infamously fired by the producers). Daniel Goozee created the art for the poster.
The single-sided poster was printed in the United Kingdom and measures 27" x 39.5". It is in very good condition with pinholes from theatrical display. Like most one-sheet posters printed before 1990, this poster was folded the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has minor fold and surface wear.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
