Moscow on the Hudson (1984)

This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1984 for Moscow on the Hudson starring Robin Williams, Maria Conchita Alonso, Alejandro Rey and Cleavant Derricks. Paul Mazursky directed the film.

Craig Nelson is the artist for the poster that was the subject of a successful lawsuit brought against Columbia Pictures by Saul Steinberg. The court found that the Moscow on the Hudson poster art infringed on the copyright of Steinberg's 1976 piece called "View of the World from 9th Avenue."

The poster measures 27" x 41" and is in very good condition with some minor edge wear with a few tiny tears from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
