This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 1989 for Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan starring Todd Shaffer, Tiffany Paulsen, Tim Mirkovich, Kane Hodder and Barbara Bingham. Rob Hedden directed the horror sequel.
This teaser poster is notorious for offending New York City officials who successfully lobbied Paramount Studios to recall the poster. A new design was subsequently created and this poster has since become a rare and sought after collectible.
The poster measures 27” x 40.25” (it has not been trimmed) and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from handling. It has never been folded.
