This is an original Italian 2 Fogli movie poster from 1949 for The Primrose Path starring Ginger Rogers, Joel McCrea, Marjorie Rambeau and Henry Travers. Gregory La Cava directed the film. Dante Manno is the artist for the poster. The film was originally released in 1940 however, partially due to World War II, it was not theatrical released in Italy until 1949.
The one-panel poster measures 39" x 55" and is in very good condition with minor edge and fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has a pinhole-size tear in the center cross-fold.
