This is an original, linen-backed, advance one-sheet movie poster from 1978 for Grease starring John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Frankie Avalon and Sid Caesar. Randal Kleiser directed the comedy based on the Broadway musical. Linda Fennimore is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster in good to very good condition prior to restoration with minimal edge wear, slight fading, and a few smudges from handling spots of discoloration on the top edge and near the bottom of the poster. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. The poster will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
