This is an original, rolled, forty by sixty, theatrical movie poster from 1977 for The Greatest starring Muhammad Ali, Ernest Borgnine, John Marley, Lloyd Haynes, Robert Duvall, David Huddleston, Ben Johnson, James Earl Jones and Dina Merrill. Tom Gries and Monte Hellman directed the autobiographical film about (and starring) boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Robert Tanenbaum is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 40” x 60” and is in very good to excellent condition with some minor creases and slight discoloration along the top and top-left white edges. It has never been folded. Forty by sixty posters were printed on slightly heavier paper stock compared to one-sheet posters.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
