This is an original three-sheet movie poster from 1958 for The Girl He Left Behind starring Tab Hunter, Natalie Wood, Jessie Royce Landis, Jim Backus, Henry Jones and James Garner. David Butler directed the military basic-training romantic comedy.The poster measures 41”x 81” and is in very good condition with some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some foldlines. There is some darkening on the back of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. This has no impact on the front of the poster.
It was printed in two sections designed to overlap. Like all three-sheet posters, it was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
