This is an original, rolled, paper banner movie poster from 1970 for Too Late the Hero starring Michael Caine, Cliff Robertson, Ian Bannen, Harry Andrews, Denholm Elliot, Ronald Fraser, Ken Takakura, and Henry Fonda. Robert Aldrich directed the World War II action thriller.
Paper banner posters, once printed in larger numbers for use in theater lobbies, were far more rare in the 1960s and 1970s and were often used in Drive-in theaters. This banner poster measures 24" x 82" and is in fair to good condition with some tears, creasing, and discoloration around the edges including some paper loss in the bottom-right corner. There are scattered smudges, tiny scuffs, and creases in various parts of the poster. minor edge wear and a few surface scuffs from previous handling. It has never been folded.
