Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)

This is an original, Italian 4 fogli theatrical movie poster from 2001 for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring starring Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Liv Tyler, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Astin, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean and Ian Holm. Peter Jackson directed the movie.

The poster measures 55” x 78" and was printed in two sections designed to overlap. It is in good to very good condition with some tiny staple holes on parts of the white edge from theatrical display and a diagonal tear at the center of the top edge of the poster that was taped (probably by a theater employee).  The two sections of the poster appears to have been taped together for display causing some faint, vertical strips of discoloration on the front of the poster along the center fold. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
