This is an original, linen-backed, French moyenne movie poster from the early 1970s for a theatrical re-release of El Dorado (1966) starring John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, James Caan, Charlene Holt, Paul Fix, and Edward Asner. Howard Hawks directed the cowboy western.
The poster measures 23" x 31.5" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with minimal edge and fold wear. It was folded after printing but the fold lines are less prominent after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
