This is an original, linen-backed, British quad theatrical movie poster from 1973 for Jimi Hendrix. The concert documentary features performances from 1966 to 1970 and features Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Little Richard, Pete Townshend, and Lou Reed. Joe Boyd and John Head directed the film.
The poster measures 30” x 40” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in good to very good condition with some small scuffs and stains near the lower-left edge and diagonal creases near the top of the poster. It was folded at the time of printing and had some partial extra folds from previous handling and minor fold wear. The folds are less noticable after restoration.
