This is an original, German A1, linen-backed theatrical movie poster from the 1970s for a re-release of The Dirty Dozen starring Lee Marvin, Ernest Borgnine, Charles Bronson, Jim Brown, John Cassavetes, George Kennedy and Telly Savannas. Robert Aldrich directed the World War II film.
The poster measures 23" x 33" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with some minor fold wear and a diagonal crease in the top right blank corner. It was folded at the time of printing. The fold lines are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in the 1970s to promote a theatrical re-release of The Dirty Dozen, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
