This is an original, linen-backed, advance one-sheet movie poster from 1985 for Back To the Future starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Crispin Glover. Robert Zemeckis directed the classic science fiction comedy. Drew Struzan is the artist for the poster.
The advance one-sheet poster for Back to the Future was printed in very small numbers before the regular, rated poster was printed and sent to theaters. It measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in very good condition with a few, light scuffs on the upper right corner from handling. It was folded after printing and had creasing and wear along the folds and cross-folds. The folds are less noticeable after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
