Midnight Cowboy (1969)

This is an original, half-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1969 for Midnight Cowboy starring Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight, Brenda Vaccaro, John McGiver, and Sylvia Miles. John Schlesinger directed the classic film based on the novel by James Leo Herlihy.

The poster measures 22” x 28” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to linen-backing the poster was in good to very good condition with some smudges and areas of discoloration along the white edges, a few scattered surface creases and scuffs and some wear along the fold lines.  The tiny spots of discoloration on the white edges were not removed by the restorer.  The poster folded at the time of printing. The folds are much less noticeable after backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer. Please note that someone carefully trimmed away the excess linen-backing leaving the poster at the original size. The poster itself has not been trimmed. 

Please look closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying. It is not a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
