This is an original, unfolded, Style A Japanese B2 theatrical movie poster from 1961 for West Side Story starring Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, Russ Tamblyn, Rita Moreno and George Chakiris. Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins directed the classic musical.
This poster is from the initial, Japanese theatrical release of the film in October 1961 and is extremely rare. It measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" and is in very good to excellent condition with a small area of creasing on the upper-right edge and an extremely faint, horizontal crease/wave at the upper and lower center of the poster from previous storage with tri-folded posters. This poster has never been folded and is in excellent, un-restored condition.
