This is an original, rolled, one sheet movie poster from 1982 for The Pirate Movie starring Kristy McNichol, Christopher Atkins, Ted Hamilton, Bill Kerr, Garry McDonald, and Maggie Kirkpatrick. Ken Annakin directed the musical adventure comedy loosely based on Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance. John Alvin is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and is in good to very good condition with scattered creases and minor edge wear from previous handling. There are single pinholes in the corners from theatrical display and spots of foxing/faint discoloration along some of the white edges. Unlike most one-sheet posters from this period, it has never been folded.
