This is an original, insert movie poster from 1963 for Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds starring Rod Taylor, Jessica Tandy, Suzanne Pleshette, Tippi Hedren, Veronica Cartwright, and Richard Deacon. Alfred Hitchcock directed the classic suspense film.
The poster measures 14" x 36" and is in excellent, restored condition. It has been paper-backed (attached to an acid-free, semi-rigid paper backing) for preservation, restoration, and stability. The poster had previously been linen-backed but had several areas of faint discoloration. The poster was expertly removed from the prior backing and is now fully restored.
