This is an original, linen-backed, French grande movie poster from 1976 for a theatrical re-release of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) starring James Dean, Natalie Wood, Sal Mineo, Jim Backus, Edward Platt, and Dennis Hopper. Nicholas Ray directed the classic drama. Jean Mascii is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 47.75" x 63" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good to excellent condition prior to restoration with minimal edge and fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the fold lines are much less visible after linen-backing. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.
