Star Wars (1977)

This is an original, paperbacked, half-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1977 for Star Wars starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, James Earl Jones, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.  George Lucas directed the film.  Tom Jung is the artist for the poster.

The poster features artwork that is slightly different (and preferred by some collectors) from the one-sheet posters for the film.  It is measures poster measures 22" x 28" and is in excellent, restored condition.  It has been paperbacked (attached to a thin, acid-free paper backing for preservation, restoration and stability). The poster was in very good condition prior to backing with scattered creases from previous handling.  It has never been folded.  Due to the the paperbacking, the poster will be shipped flat to avoid damage in transit.
