This is an original, rolled, Japanese two-panel theatrical movie poster from 1968 for a theatrical re-release of Ben-Hur. The 1959 classic film stars Charlton Heston, Jack Hawkins, Hugh Griffith and Haya Haraeet. William Wyler directed the movie.
The Tatekan-style poster measures 20” x 57” and was printed in two sections designed to overlap. It has never been folded and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal creasing and a few, small tears on the top and bottom edges. The poster has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners and edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1968 to promote a Japanese theatrical re-release of Ben Hur, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
