This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1958 for The Blob starring Steve McQueen, Aneta Corsaut, Earl Rowe, Olin Howlin, Stephen Chase, John Benson, and George Karas. Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. directed the classic science fiction-horror thriller.

The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with minimal edge wear, a small spot of doscoloration on the bottom left corner, and some wear along parts of the folds. The folds are much less prominent after restoration.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.

This very rare and extremely collectible poster, printed in 1958 to promote the initial, theatrical release of The Blob, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
