This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 1984 for Red Dawn starring Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson, Harry Dean Stanton, Charlie Sheen, and Jennifer Grey. John Milius directed the film. John Alvin is the artist for the poster.
The poster is a rare, printer's proof (test) poster printed for review and approval by the studio, art department and filmmakers. Once approved, the poster was printed for use in theaters. This one-sheet poster measures 30.25" x 42" and is in very good condition with wear and small tears along the bottom-right, white edge of the poster. Unlike most one sheet posters from this period, it has never been folded.
