This is an original, linen-backed, half-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1950 for the initial release of Walt Disney's Cinderella featuring the voices of Ilene Woods, Eleanor Audley, Verna Felton, Claire Du Brey, James MacDonald, Louis Van Rooten, and Don Barclay. Clyde Geronimi and Wilfred Jackson directed the classic Disney film.
The Style B poster measures 22” x 28” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in good to very good condition prior to restoration with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display, some faint smudging, small tears and creasing around the edges, and a couple of minor surface scuffs. The poster has never been folded. Please note that someone carefully trimmed away the excess linen-backing leaving the poster at the original size. The poster itself has not been trimmed.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1950 to promote the first theatrical release of Cinderella, is not a reprint or a reproduction.
