This is an original, linen-backed, Argentinian movie poster from 1963 for Marilyn fearturing Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, Cyd Charisse, Dean Martin, Charles Coburn, and narration by Rock Hudson. Harold Medford directed the Marilyn Monroe documentary.
The poster measures 29.25" x 43" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in very good condition prior to backing with staple holes on the edges from theatrical display and some light smudges and scuffing near the bottom of the poster. The outer white border was once folded for the poster to fit in a frame. The poster was folded at the time of printing and had some pinhole separations at the cross-folds. The poster was linen-backed in the European style with no restoration.Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1963 to promote the Argentinian theatrical release of Marylin, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
