This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1965 for a theatrical re-release of The Buccaneer (1958) starring Yul Brynner, Claire Bloom, Charles Boyer, Inger Stevens, Charlton Heston, Lorne Greene and Ted de Corsia. Anthony Quinn directed the adventure film based on Cecil B. DeMille's original 1938 film. DeMille served as a producer for the 1958 version.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in good to very good condition with minor to moderate edge/fold wear and pinholes from theatrical display. The poster was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying. The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
