This is an original, three-sheet movie poster from 1971 for McCabe and Mrs. Miller starring Warren Beatty, Julie Christie, William Devane, Shelley Duvall and Keith Carradine. The classic film was directed by Robert Altman. Richard Amsel is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 41" x 81" and is in very good condition with a few staple holes around the edges from theatrical display. There is a very small tear at the bottom-center cross-fold. Please note that the vertical, while lines on the faces of Warren Beatty and Julie Christie are not damage but are actually part of the artwork. The was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country and has a different design compared the poster used in the United States. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares around the edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
