This is an original, British quad theatrical movie poster from 1981 for the initial release of Superman II starring Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, Ned Beatty, Margot Kidder, Jackie Cooper, Valerie Perrine, Sarah Douglas, Marc McClure and Susannah York. Richard Lester directed the superhero sequel (who got the job after the original director, Richard Donner, was infamously fired by the producers).
The poster measures 27” x 39” (the original size - it has not been trimmed) and is in very good condition with some light creasing from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing but has has been stored flat for many years. The poster will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
