This is an original, six-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1963 for the initial, theatrical release of The Longest Day starring John Wayne, Richard Burton, Red Buttons, Sean Connery, Fabian, Mel Ferrer, Henry Fonda, Roddy McDowall, Robert Mitchum, George Segal and Rod Steiger. Ken Annakin and Andrew Marton directed the classic World War II film.
The poster measures 81" x 81" and was printed in four sections designed to overlap. It is in very good condition with some tiny smudges and a few tears along fold-lines from long-term storage. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not a stock image. The small, black squares in the corners and edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
