This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1960 for the initial, theatrical release of Caltiki, The Immortal Monster starring John Merivale, Didi Sullivan, Gerard Herter, Daniella Rocca, Gay Pearl, and Daniel Vargas. Riccardo Freda directed the Italian science-fiction film.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with some tape stains on parts of the bottom white edge and pinholes in the top corners from theatrical display. It was folded at the time of printing and had pinhole separations at the cross-folds. The fold lines are much less noticeable after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer. Please note that the restorer, or subsequent owner, trimmed most of the excess linen from the edges (likely to accommodate framing).
