This is an original, Japanese two panel movie poster from 1964 for Becket starring Richard Burton, Peter O'Toole, John Gielgud and Pamela Brown. Peter Glenville directed the medieval drama based on the play by Jean Anouilh.
The tatekan style poster was printed in two sections designed to overlap and measures 20” x 57". It is in very good condition with pinholes in the top corners from theatrical display, minor edge/fold wear. The movie theater in Japan that displayed the poster in 1964 glued the two sections together (a common practice to help with display). There is a small, white sticker (snipe) about 1/3rd from the bottom of the poster used to cover some information on the poster. It was folded at the time of printing but it has been stored flat for many years. It will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
