This is an original, Italian 4 fogli theatrical movie poster from 1986 for the initial release of the bodybuilding documentary Pumping Iron (1977) featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, Roger Callard, Franco Columbu, Ed Corney (who is shown posing in the poster), Matty Ferrigno, Victoria Ferrigno, Mike Katz, Serge Nubret, Robbie Robinson, Ken Waller, and Joe Weider. George Butler and Robert Fiore directed the film. Enzo Sciotti is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 55” x 78" and was printed in two sections designed to overlap. It is in very good to excellent, unused condition with minimal creasing from long term storage. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or from a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and very collectible poster, printed in 1986 to promote the initial, Italian theatrical release of Pumping Iron, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
